If you’re interested in an electric pickup truck, you will want to know about the 2024 GMC Sierra EV. While it won’t be available until sometime in 2023, it will undoubtedly be worth the wait. Here are the details we know so far.

Power and Performance

The GMC Sierra EV will be powered by front and rear motors that combine to produce a whopping 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque.* This will enable this large truck to get from 0 to 60 in just 4.5 seconds. It will also come with air suspension, a crab walk feature that allows the truck to move diagonally, and a regenerative braking system. The GMC Sierra EV will be able to tow up to 9,500 pounds.

Driving Range and Charging Times

On a full charge, the GMC Sierra EV will be able to travel up to 400 miles, which is an impressive range. And using a charging station that can charge up to 350 kilowatts, you will be able to add about 100 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes.

Interior

The GMC Sierra EV is offered as a Crew cab with ample space for up to five people. In addition to a bed almost six feet long, there is a front trunk for more storage space. Tech features include a massive 16.8-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
