It was recently named to Car and Driver’s annual 10Best for 2023 list. Here are some of the things that made this car a winner.
Z06 Trim
Car and Driver particularly liked the Z06 trim, which they called a “track-focused monster,” though one that is also ideally suited for driving around town. It comes with a flat-pane 5.5-liter V8 engine that pumps out a whopping 670 horsepower, and you’ll hear every one of those ponies.
Stingray
The publication also noted the Stingray variant, labeling it a “spectacular supercar” thanks to a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 490 horsepower. It’s also swift, launching you from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. If that’s not fast enough for you, you can go with the coupe and the Z51 package, cutting that sprint by another tenth of a second.
