New Tech for Electrifying Performance
The EV revolution is upon us. While cars like the Chevy Bolt EV and Chevy Bolt EUV led the charge (pardon the pun), the coming year will see those models updated and joined in the lineup by the Chevy Silverado EV, Chevy Equinox EV, and Chevy Blazer EV.
Much of this credit goes to Ultium® and Ultifi®, the new GM battery platform and EV power management system, respectively. They ensure that the next generation of electric vehicles will be smarter, go farther, and be even more capable.
SuperCruise™ Autonomous Driving Technology
We were promised flying cars. That hasn’t happened, but GM has brought us much closer to self-driving cars with SuperCruise™ tech available in select upper-trim Chevy, Buick, and GMC models. This feature uses meticulous mapping, GPS technology, and advanced sensors to provide hands-free driving on hundreds of thousands of miles of highway in the United States and Canada.
The Multi-Flex Tailgate™
So far, we’ve discussed extreme examples of tech, but what we love about the Multi-Flex Tailgate™ is that it shows how Chevy sweats the small stuff. It has six different configurations: work surface, bed step, load stop, inner gate, inner gate load stop, and primary gate (your Chevy dealer will give you a demonstration). It’s one of those simple but ingenious ideas that makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of it earlier and significantly boosts productivity.
