While the base engine has an impressive tow rating of 9,500 pounds, the other powertrains raise those numbers considerably. The 5.3-liter V8 will let you tow up to 11,000 pounds. Both the turbodiesel and 6.2-liter V8 can tow up to 13,300 pounds. The base engine offers the best hauling capability of 2,270 pounds.
